He also hailed the sterling performance of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for conducting what can only be described as the best party primaries in the country.

Onuesoke pointed out that one thing that made the ‘Turaki of Adamawa’ stand out among other leaders is his ability to identify and recognize talent, competence and  consistency on key national issues, adding that Atiku Abubakar seems to understand Nigeria but somehow, Nigeria has not been able to understand him.

This situation, according to Onuesoke, portends grave danger for the Nigerian economy, as it will trigger inflation and further discourage importers from choosing Nigeria as the port of destination.

He lamented that the continuous killings in Benue State, adding that the distressing situation of farmers and their families paint a stark picture of the grave abuses carried out by suspected herdsmen and the impunity they continue to enjoy.
