"Get your people to register and collect their voters cards to increase your voting strength, it is not enough to say you have won, the margin with which you win matters a lot, engage in rigourous campaign and don't take things for granted," the Governor said.

The Governor stated this during the campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Ika South, noted that the womenfolk come out in their large numbers to participate in politics, therefore they should be supported to contest for elective positions.

He noted that it’s; “unfortunate that Utomi who is supposedly knowledgeable would make reckless statements that have no bearing with facts,” adding that “he is not surprised at Utomi’s verbal gaffe because this is a man who is not in touch with the reality on ground in Delta State and yet wants to govern it.”

Gradually the State is sinking as the PDP led administration is piling up a huge debt burden for any successive administration, the People of Delta State and the unborn generations.
