Hon. Festus Pemu

The group Secretary General, Barrister Ese Kparughe who spoke to Journalists at his office in Asaba, Delta State, said Hon. Pemu’s decision to join the race for the exalted position was a sign that the good men are beginning to hear the clarion call that you can’t make by being part of it of the system.

While commending the bold step taken by Hon. Pemu, who is the former Chairman of HOST Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, Delta Central and Community Leader, Kparughe urged Sapele people not be deceived by people whose intention is to ruin the town.

“It annoying that over the years we have been getting our choices wrong. We have been voting those who do not have the interest of developing the local government; those who are interested in their pocket, which is why, we were happy to hear that a man of integrity and honesty with a determination to make changes has indicated his interest.

“We want to say, we are fully behind him, Sapele Local Government Area will benefit from his vast wealth of experience and his knowledge too as a business man over the years. He will certainly turn the LGA around” he said.

Kparughe also advised Sapele residents not to be led astray. “They will come, promising to do this and do that; dolling out cash to people to buy peoples over. Don’t be swayed. Let vote for those that will Sapele,” he said.
