She stressed that the institution needs the NUJ to preserve its image whenever the need arises. “I am very pleased to host the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel today in Delta State College of Health Technology. You have been friends both with me and the College, you have assisted us in difficult times, even when you had no knowledge that your sister and friend is the head of the Institution”, she added.

According to her, “information is key and power, yet when misrepresented can bring down an institution. We recognise your worth and impact on society. We are grateful that you are our friends. We also appeal that you continue to preserve the image of the Institution as you have always done.

“Today, we celebrate together as friends with lots of gratitude and love in our hearts. Thank you for all you have been doing for us. We are eternally grateful”, she said.

In his words; “Indeed the current administration is really poised to develop the school to enviable heights because this meeting will further strengthen the relationship between the school authority and Journalists in the State.

“As journalists, we are ready to partner with you by publishing your activities such as matriculation, convocation, seminars, symposium, AGM, and any other important events to ensure that the school is upgraded from its present status of School of Health Technology to College of Health Technology to boost the number of new entrants”, he added.
