The Nigeria Police have made a successful arrest of two major suspected criminals terrorising Effurun and its environs and will be charging them to court for kidnapping and other criminal offences.
In statement by the Nigeria Police Force Public Relation Officers, Zone 5, Mr Emeka Ihenacho he gave the names of the suspects as Mr Emmanuel Ogbeni 28 and Mr Osifo Enakirhua 30 who were arrested by the police in their hideout at Alaka area, PTI road Effurun, Delta state.
He added that they were arrested in connection with the kidnapping of Mr Blessing Dukuye and his wife at DSC Roundabout on New Year Day.
Mr David Tega Chairman Peoples Democratic Party PDP ward one Uvwie Local Government Area has also of alleged plots by Mr Emmanuel Ogbeni, one of the arrested suspect by the police and boys to assassinate him and his family.
According Mr Tega who spoke to one of our correspondent, he said he was crying out “because this boy is very wicked. He has been trailing me and my family for sometime but I have to go into hiding and relocated my family to somewhere else for the meantime and if he says something he does it until you settle him with money that is the business he is doing.
“I don’t have any business with him or contesting election with him; so I don’t know why he wants me and my family dead. He added.
