The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has congratulated Ondo State Governor-elect, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN on his victory at the polls, saying that the chances of APC clenching Delta state in 2019 is getting brighter.
In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Jefia Dede, he stated that the victory of the APC in Edo and now in Ondo state is a reaffirmation of the trust and belief Nigerians have in the APC at all levels.
He added that, “it also portends great news for progressives’ struggle to rescue Delta State from the crutches of the PDP cabal come 2019! We can now see a very bright light at the end of the tunnel for Delta State.”
While commending the people of Ondo state for making the right choice, he noted that the pedigree and credentials of Akeredolu distinguished him as the best man for the job.
Olorogun Emerhor also congratulated President Buhari and the APC national leadership for their doggedness that has resulted in the recent string of victories in Edo and Ondo.
He thanked the election management body, INEC and the security agencies for providing adequate security for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the election adding that the process was free, fair and transparent.
The 2015 APC Governorship candidate prayed God to guide the Governor-elect to succeed in providing the dividends of democracy to the Ondo people as Governor.
