Omo-Agege At 59: We’re proud of your sterling leadership in Nigeria, Dafinone tells DSP

The senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Delta Central Senatorial District, Okakuro Ede Dafinone has congratulated the Deputy President of the Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege on his 59th birthday anniversary.

Dafinone said Senator Omo-Agege’s sterling leadership at the National Assembly through sponsorship of key bills has helped in the advancement of the country’s democracy and socio-economy development.

The APC chieftain said Omo-Agege, just like his father, Hon. Justice James Omo-Agege has brought honour and pride to the Urhobo and Nigerian people through his quality representation.

The renowned Chartered Accountant praised Omo-Agege, a former Secretary to the Delta State Government, for remaining steadfast in pursuit of good governance that will directly benefit all Nigerians irrespective of the political, ethnic and religious differences.

Dafinone noted that Omo-Agege is returning home (Delta State) with his national exposure as well as his unbeatable and sterling leadership capacities to redesign and give true development to the people of the oil-rich state.

He added that he is particularly thrilled by the massive support Senator Omo-Agege enjoys among his people and beyond since he emerged as the governorship candidate of the APC for the 2023 governorship election in the state.

“I, on behalf of my family and the Ede Dafinone Campaign Organisation, sincerely felicitate with our pragmatic leader and a lawmaker of inestimable value, His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on his 59 birthday.

“I’m humbly thrilled by your achievements at the National level through the sponsorship of quality and human-oriented bills which have helped to deepen our democracy and socio-economic development of Nigeria.

“There’s no doubt that you’re loved by our people across party lines and they can’t wait for 2023 general elections to elect you as the next governor of Delta State to enable you to unleash true governance on the people of Delta.

“As you celebrate today your 59th birthday, be assured that we’ll continue to support you in your quest to see that Delta is liberated from the poor governance which now reigns supreme in beloved Delta State”, the statement partly read.

Dafinone, while praying for more strength, good health and peace for Senator Omo-Agege, said the Deputy President of the Senate’s soaring political image will continue to grow unhindered through the grace of God.
