My life is in danger, Nigerian man, Onyeneke Tochi Andrew whose mother was killed by Boko Haram in Borno cries out

A Nigerian man, Onyeneke Tochi Andrew whose mother died as a result of burnt injuries sustained from Boko Haram attack in Borno State during one of the group’s attacks in 2020, says his life is still in danger.

Andrew, who is presently based in the United States of America, said his life and that of his family members are now in danger after speaking against the activities of the dreaded terrorist group – Boko Haram.

He explained that Boko Haram terrorists invaded Zaabarmar, a town in Borno, where his mother was residing and set her home ablaze and she sustained severe burns from the attack.

Andrew’s mother, Mrs Theresa Ahusuru Onyeneke, later died of the burnt injuries on January 3rd, 2021.

He recalled that many villagers were killed while several houses were set ablaze by the terrorists including his family house where his late mother was living before the invasion.

The U.S based Nigerian said the anger of the group against him followed when he asked the armed-wielding militants to stop killing innocent villagers and other Nigerians living in the community.

Andrew added that Boko Haram is threatening to take his life whenever he steps his feet on Nigeria soil.

He called on the Nigerian Government and the international community to come to his aid to ensure that he is not killed by Boko Haram terrorists.
