My achievements in two years will overrun Manager’s 16 years in the Senate – Johnny Assures

Speaking to Journalists in Warri, Chief Micheal Johnny who is aspiring for the senate seat in the Delta South Senatorial district under the APC assured his constituents of his readiness to serve his people with distinction, promising that what Senator James Manager was unable to achieve in 16 years will be achieved in just two years.

Chief Johnny who was so confidant of his promises noted that he do better than the immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan even as an SSG and Governor of the state.

“I’m the most qualified person for job with enormous grassroots support to represent Delta South at the Senate in 2019”, he said.

Chief Johnny while fielding questions from newsmen, quipped that he accepted the call of the people of Delta South to come and contest in order to change the narrative of the prevailing poverty in the land, inadequate representation as well as lack of vision to attract development to the district.

He promised  to initiate bills that will reduce poverty and attracts educational support to  Delta South as well as pushing for  the increase of oil revenue and other benefits due to Delta South Senatorial District.

Recounting his contributions and achievements as chairman of EGCDF for four years, he said he was able to execute more than 116 visible projects, provide jobs and gave scholarships to people across communities under the foundation.

The Delta South Senatorial Seat front-runner, promised to frequently interact with his constituents if he emerge as the APC flag-bearer and ultimately, Delta South Senator in 2019.

Meanwhile, members of the National Association of Delta State Students, NADESSTU, Niger Delta University Chapter has presented to Chief Johnny the “Most Supportive and Student Friendly Personality of the Year 2018 award”.

Presenting the award, leader of the students’ body and Coordinator, APC Circulation, Comrade Tuwa Samson, stated that Chief Micheal Johnny is the best aspirant for the Delta South Senatorial job and called on all constituents in Delta South to lend him their supoort.

Responding, Chief Johnny promised to sustain his empowerment to youths in order to make them look beyond criminality, just as he appealed to women to give him their support, assuring them of 50 percent appointments if he is elected as senator.
