Amori, Onogba donate food items to Mosogar residents

Chairman, Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Senator Ighoyota Amori and State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Chris Onogba weekend gave out different food items to the people of Mosogar as part of palliatives to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown in the state.

Recall that both leaders had earlier gave out some cash to some selected women during Mosogar market day, a gesture which was greatly applauded by many residents as the beneficiaries were across the party divide.

According to the Chief Amori who is also the Otota of Mosogar, he said that they decided to give the palliatives to the people of Mosogar to enable them observed the government stay at home order.

He noted that most residents of Mosogar are daily earners whom the stays at home order would have affected their sources of living, hence the palliative.

Amori noted that the package is not for the party faithful, rather for all Mosogar residents, particularly aged women.

Some of the food items which include; 90 bags of Garri, 181 bags of rice, 30 cartons of Noodles, tubers of yam, bags of beans, bunches of plantains, baskets of onions.

The President General of Mosogar Development Union, Col.C Akporokah Rtd expressed gratitude to Senator Amori and Hon Chris Onogba for the gesture and their tireless effort and financial contribution towards restoring power supply to some Mosogar villages.
