Emotional Phyna Seeks Help to Redeem ₦100m Prize from BBNaija Show

An emotional Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, the winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ Season 7, has made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians for help in redeeming the over ₦100 million worth of prizes she won on the show in 2022.
Phyna has been locked in a battle with the show sponsors, particularly Quidax Global, who have been reluctant to part with the promised 1 BTC, now worth over ₦100 million.
Taking to her Instagram Live on May 23, 2024, Phyna expressed her frustration with the show organizer, MultiChoice, for their inability to help her secure her prize.
She tearfully called out the sponsors and questioned the delay in receiving her prize, which includes the 1 BTC.
“Calling you people out, quickly pay the rest. Quickly give me the BTC too na. Quickly give it to me.
Quickly give me the BTC the way you give me other things. What’s my business with Quidax. I don’t know Quidax.
I didn’t sign contract with Quidax. When I was going on the show, I didn’t know Quidax were part of the sponsors.
I didn’t sign contract them,” Phyna said.
She continued: “The people I have contract with is MultiChoice, so pay me the money and face Quidax and collect the money.
Or collect the money from Quidax and give me my money.
What’s going on?”
Phyna argued that the value of 1 BTC has significantly increased since 2022 when it was worth around ₦22 million.
She expressed her disappointment with the delay in receiving her prize and called on the show organizers to take responsibility for ensuring she receives the full amount she is entitled to.
As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Phyna will receive the prize she rightfully won and whether the show organizers will take steps to address the concerns raised by the reality star.
