The political adviser to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Ighoyota Amori has called on Nigerians and the good people of Delta State to use the occasion of the Easter celebration to sustain peace in the country.

Amori in a statement by the Director General of his campaign organisation, Elegbete Moses Odibo, used the occasion to thank God for the steady socioeconomic and peace building progress recorded in Delta state since Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa took over the mantle of leadership on May 29, 2015.

He noted that God has been very kind and faithful in the area of credible leadership, good governance and unquantifiable Grace of God; which has made Delta to rated as one of the best in socioeconimic advancement in Nigeria.

Amori who is also a frontline 2019 Delta Central Senatorial aspirant on the platform of PDP, further asserted that the successes recorded within three years of Okowa administration in terms of job and wealth creation as well as huge infrastructure development across the three senatorial districts, was made possible by the finger of God through hardwork and prayers of Christians.

“Deltans should strive hard and  continue to emulate the excellent spiritual integrity and credible lifestyle of our Lord Jesus Christ, who served mankind with inestimable humility, kindness and display of divine love which subsequently reconciled the world to God through His crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to glory.

“As a people, we need to sustain high level spiritual unity, greater peace building efforts and to continually pray for our dear state and Gov Okowa’s administration.

“Where God guides, he provides which is why Deltans must continue to pray fervently for more blessings and rapid socioeconomic development.

“As we celebrate the Ressurection of our Redeemer Jesus Christ, I wish Deltans the very best that Easter season has in stock for God’s people, the state and members of our campaign organisation,” the statement added.
