Hon Ochor made the call on Friday, at the party secretariat in Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area, in a meeting called to map out strategy to garner massive votes for their candidate, Hon Chukwudi Dafe.

While admonishing the party faithfuls to rally round the party candidates, he said it is only when this is done that victory is sure, enjoining them not take part of any anti -party activities which are capable of undermining the party chances.

He hailed the choice of the party in selecting her candidate during the primary election, and said it was a wise decision, which will stand the test of time.

“The process of choosing the party flag bearer in the forthcoming election in the person of Chukwudi Dafe was a wise one. This will stand the test of time.”

Hon Ochor, who was one time member of the Delta State House of Assembly, also used the occasion to declare his intention to run for the Ukwuani Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2019 General Election.

Some weeks ago he had informed the party in his ward of his intention to run for the position. With the announcement at the LGA secretariat it is now very obvious that weeks of speculation is over, and it is now a public knowledge.

Hon Ochor had been a symbol of loyalty to the party in the area and the state in general as he had never allowed negative party decisions to affect his loyalty to the PDP since its formation in 1988.
