Delta LG Poll: Endorsement of Inoaghan has brought unity to Sapele PDP- Nwakego

A People Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader in Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Sunny Nwakego has commended the PDP stakeholders in Sapele for endorsing  Mr. Eugene Inoaghan as the party chairmanship candidate in the forth coming Local Government election in the state.

Comrade Nwakego addressing journalists,  in Sapele, noted that the choice of Mr. Eugene Inoaghan as the consensus candidate of the party, has brought peace and unity to the party, stressing that with Inoaghan choice, the party will have overwhelming victory in the LG election.

While urging the incumbent council chairman, Barr Ejaife Odebala, and other aspirants Mr. Festus Pemu Akponofuo and Mr. Hero Asagba to support the choice of Mr. Inoaghan, he noted that there can be only one candidate at a time and that for the first time PDP in Sapele got its choice right.

According to Nwakego, “we have been producing chairmen without appreciable impact on the people of the local government, so this time PDP stakeholders decided to choose a successful entrepreneur so that he can bring his business skill to develop the local government.

“We are confident that he will not come and embezzle the meager resource of the council because he is self made, that is why Sapele residents are very happy when the news filtered into town over the weekend that he has been endorsed as the party flag bearer.

“So, we are calling on other aspirants to queue behind Mr. Eugene Inoaghan, as the party candidate and support him to win, because he has also supported all party candidates seeking elective positions in the past with his resources.

“We are also using this medium to appeal to our national leader, Chief James Ibori, former governor of Delta state and the former speaker, Chief Monday Igbuya for their support.

“Mr. Eugene Inoaghan is a loyal member of the Ibori political family and has supported all his political aspiration and has also stood by Chief Igbuya and supported him in the past, as they say; one good turn, deserves another.”
