Delta APC Crisis Deepen: Faction plants charm at Secretariat to stop SEC meeting

The crisis rocking the Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Monday took a dramatic turn, as the faction loyal to Senator Francis Okpozo have been accused of allegedly placing suspected  “juju” (charm) objects at the entrance of the party Secretariat in Asaba, the state capital.

The Prophet Jones Ode Erue -led State Executive Council had scheduled a meeting at the Secretariat on Monday at 10am, to review the report of the 7man disciplinary committee, it earlier set up to investigate the alleged anti-party activities of 47 members of the party including Sen. Okpozo.

They were stunned to discover that the gate to the venue was locked with a padlock painted with red colour, in addition, a calabash containing eggs, white native chalk tied with red pieces was also at the front gate.

The State Executive members, however, defied this demonic act by destroying the ritual material. As at the time of this report, the meeting was still ongoing.

Attempt to reach Sen. Okpozo for his reaction was not successful as at the time of this report.
