Delta 2023: Osanebi is a perfect choice, he is a great youth mobiliser -Elder Sobotie

The All Progressives Congress APC Delta State has officially unveiled Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi as the party’s Deputy Governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections in a ceremony witnessed by members of the State Working Committee.

Recall that on 29th June 2022, the Governorship Candidate of the Party, Deputy President of the Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, had in a press conference, announced Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi as his running mate for the 2023 general elections.

Advocate.ng reports that at the press conference held in Abuja, Senator Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege described Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi as a leader of impeccable character and a highly competent political bridge builder whose humane, meek and compassionate heart identifies and beats with the aspirations and challenges of every Deltan.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony which took place at the State Secretariat, Asaba, the party State Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, stated that amongst the numerous qualities and flawless character of Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi is his unique ability to identify with the aspirations of the teeming population of the youths in Delta State.

“Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi is a perfect choice for the position of the deputy governorship candidate of our great Party and the modern conductor of youth’s orchestra in the politics of entrenching good governance”, he added.

In his response, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, while expressing his appreciation to the members of the State Working Committee (SWC) and leadership of the Party for nominating him as the running mate to Senator Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, assured members of the Party of his unflinching loyalty and commitment to the Party and his unshakable resolve to work tirelessly for the successful victory of the Party in the 2023 general elections. “I am not just here to observe, but to ensure that APC wins the 2023 general elections in Delta State”, he stated.
