Emerhor stated this during the grand reception for Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, noted that when the opposition came together in 2010 and 2011 election they uprooted the PDP in the state, although, the final outcome of the elections were manipulated and the opposition were denied access to power.

He also said that in all these fight to rescue Delta state from PDP misrule, he had fought along Chief Great Ogboru, adding that when they went different ways in 2015, they both failed; hence they are coming together again for the overall interest of Deltans.

According to him, “the progressive came together in 2010 and 2011, and we uprooted the PDP, but we were not allowed to takeover power, because the results of the elections were manipulated but things will be different in 2019.

“You know that I and Chief Great Ogboru, were in all this fight together. However, in 2015 we were divided, and as the saying goes, divided we fall, united we stand, and that is why we are back together.

“The opposition is back, and i know that we have a very strong and vibrant Senator now, Senator Omo-Agege who will support us. So, we are taking back our state from PDP.”

He also commended Senator Omo-Agege for making the Urhobo nation proud at the Senate with just three months in the Senate, nothing that greater days are ahead of the Urhobo nation and Delta State.
