Delta 2019: Oghenesivbe set up group to mobilise support for Okowa’s re-election

As 2019 political drum beat become intensifying, many political pressure are springing up on a daily basis in their quest to moblise Deltans for the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019 election in Delta State. 

There are several political pressure groups working with Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) under the state leadership of Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe as Director General, with the aim of galvanize and mobilize eligible voters Delta State, to vote for Okowa Again come 2019.

The latest of the emerging political pressure and mobilization groups for Gov Ifeanyi Okowa’s 2019 re-election project popularly known as OKOWA AGAIN 2019; is about to be unveiled in Ethiope East and West Local Government Areas.

Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr Fred Oghenesivbe in a statement on Wednesday revealed that his pet project; “The Eagles East-West Group For Okowa (TEEWGO)” 2019, shall soon be inaugurated to join forces with Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) and other like mind groups for the mobilization of eligible voters for Okowa’s landslide victory come 2019.

The Executive Assistant further disclosed that his group shall adopt DPV as its parent body so as to operate within the acceptable guidelines and strategies of Vision Okowa 2019.

“The Eagles East-West Group for Okowa 2019 is deliberately conceived to expand the tentacles and electioneering mobilization action plans put in place by stakeholders and supporters of the smart governor, particularly in Ethiope East and West Local Government Areas.

“Our focus is within the two municipal areas so that we do not unnecessary chew more than we can swallow. TEEWGO 2019 shall be deeply involved in voters’ education, sensitization, and mobilization, shall provoke public debate and pre-elections political talk shows.

“We shall combine mass mobilization of voters with raising both internal and external team of political commentators and communication resource persons to drum the Okowa re-election bid into the mind, body and soul of Deltans.

“I have decided, after due consultation, to combine proactive and strategic political communication with typical grassroots politics which is why TEEWGO is going to feature prominently in our political radar and electioneering processes in 2019,” Oghenesivbe disclosed.
