Chief Anuku charges students to be diligent with their study

Chief Meshach Anuku has charged students to take their study seriously, he state this at the first edition of Chief (Barr.) Meshach Anuku, quiz competition for Secondary School students, held at Orogun civic center, Ughelli North local government, Delta State.

He noted that the only sure way to achieving academic excellence is through being studious as a student, adding that students, who came first at the competition, would have their Senior Secondary School Certificate Exams (SSCE) enrollment fee subsidies by 50%.
 

At the end of the competition, Aragbah Grammar School came first, with 16pionts and got the star trophy with #50,000 price tag, Orhoerha Secondary School Ugono, came second and Orogun Grammar School came third, all the participating schools and students got some textbooks as their prize.
 

Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, who represented the Commissioner for Education, Mr Orutu Williams, commended Chief Anuku for initiating the quiz competition nothing that it will go a long way in challenging students in the locality to study harder.
 

Other dignitaries at the event are: Mrs. Ezire Elohor, who represented the CIE Mrs. Ighavbota W, ministry of education, Magistrate Onome Esade, Mr Igho Eboh, Engr. Austin Oyefia and many others.
