Athletics Excellence: Anirah gives scholarships to 3 Chude’s students

To encourage students to embrace sports, the President and Chief Executive of Felix Anirah Foundation, Chief Felix Anirah gave scholarships to three students of Chude’s Girls Secondary School Sapele, for excelling in the school inter-house sport competition.

Anirah who is also the patron of White House, which came out as overall best in the competition, awarded scholarships to the best performing three students in the White House.

Miss Nwasili Rebecca, a JSS 3B student who came top as overall best athlete got scholarship to SS3, Miss Okoroafor Ugochi, a JSS2D student who came 2nd got scholarship for her boarding fee paid till SS3, while Excellent Imoghene an SS3 student who came 3rd best, got full scholarship to second year in the University.

Chief Anirah while commiserating with staff and students of the school over their burnt hostel also donated N200, 000 to enable the school management replace some of the students clothing and bedding which was damaged by the fire according to the school principal.

The Principal of the school, Mrs Adehne Ominiabons, commended Chief Anirah for coming to the aide of the students, who lost their wares to the fire incident at the hostile; nothing that the donation will go a long way in ameliorates the pains of the students.

While calling on well-meaning Deltans to assist the school and students, she urges them to emulate the philanthropic gesture of Chief Anirah.

Chief Anirah charged the students to take their study seriously and also embrace sport in order for them develop both physically and academically, adding that sport has the capacity take them globally if they put in more efforts.

To boost the students moral, Chief Anirah gave N100,000.00 to the students of the White House for their brilliant performance, while the House Masters and Mistress where not left out, as they also got a touch of Chief Anirah’s benevolence.
