Arewa youth leader urges Deltans to pray for Gov Okowa to succeed

The youth leader of Arewa Community in Sapele local government area of Delta State, Mr. Masiru Adu, has called on Deltans to continue to pray for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to bring more development to the state.

Mr Adu while fielding questions from journalists at the Sapele Athletic Club, venue of the PDP rally in Sapele said, the Governor has performed creditably since the beginning of his administration despite the paucity of funds occasioned by the economic recession.

He said, “as a nation we are gradually pulling out from the recession,” just as he hoped that all PDP candidates will win in all future elections in Delta state given its performance of the party since the inception of democracy in 1999.

He explained that the Arewa community in Sapele has being supporting the PDP administration which has ensured that we have peaceful environment to enable our business to thrive without harassment or molestation from any quarters.

According to him, “Arewa has been supporting PDP, we have never joined other party because we have confident in PDP’s government, I give kudos to Governor Okowa who has empowered the youths and the women, now people can stand on their own through all his empowerment program.”

The Arewa youth  leader who rated both the federal and Delta State government high in terms of good governance,  appealed to Deltans to pray for the Governor so  that better days would come.

He called on all Sapele people to vote in all PDP’s candidate during the forth coming local government election noting that PDP-led government has given Sapele massive infrastructural development and empowerment programme.
