Ned Nwoko emerges Leadership Newspaper “Impact Person of the year”

Celebrated philanthropist, Prince Ned Nwoko has been named “Impact Person of the Year, 2021 by Leadership Newspaper.

This was unveiled in the Leadership publication of Monday, May 9, 2022, where Prince Ned Nwoko was listed for honour with other prominent Nigerians including Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, world-renowned development expert, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and industrialist, Dr A. B C Orjiakor among others.

Nwoko, a former member of House of Representatives has distinguished himself as a patron of public charities, granting scholarships to thousands of secondary and tertiary school students, initiator of the Africa Malaria eradication project, London-Paris Club loans refund which ended Nigeria’s recession as well Environmentalist being the first Nigerian/black African to undertake an expedition to South Pole Antarctica.

He is currently seeking to represent Delta North senatorial district at the national assembly in 2023, under the people’s Democratic Party PDP.

The leadership Newspaper “Impact Person of the year” recognition would be presented to Prince Ned Nwoko at its 2022 award ceremony.
