SPADE News publisher loses mother, friends mourn

Friends and sympathisers have expressed sadness over the demise of Late Deaconess Omatie Victoria Iweta Esiorho (Mrs), a retired Police Officer and biological mother of the Publisher of SpadeNG News, Comrade Abel Johngold Orheruata.

The sympathisers in a press statement signed by Mr. Ozomena Egbune and Emenike Victor Bieni made available to newsmen in Asaba, Delta State capital stated that an eagle had gone.

While consoling the publisher over the death of his mother, they prayed God to grant him, his siblings and the entire family the hearts to bear the irreparable loss.

Late Omatie Esiorho died at the Nigeria Air Force Medical Services, Sam Ethnan NAF Base, Ikeja Lagos, on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 65.

The statement described Late Omatie Esiorho, a retired Superintendent of Police, as a fulfilled, great and caring mother with an eagle characteristic, adding that, though a vacuum had been created with her demise, Johngold and those she left behind should take solace in the realisation that she led a fulfilled life, just as they prayed that the good Lord grant her gentle soul a place in His bosom.

Late Omatie Esiorho is survived by five children, grandchildren and many relatives.
