Ogodo hails Dafinone’s appointment as NEXIM board member

The All Progressive Congress, APC, candidate into the Delta State House of Assembly, Sapele Constituency in 2019, Hon Moses Ogodo has congratulated the new board member of Nigeria Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), Chief Ede Dafinone on his appointment by President Mohammadu Buhari.

In a congratulatory message issued in his office in Sapele today and personally signed by him, Ogodo extolled the leadership qualities and astute contributions of the Dafinone family to the economic development of Nigeria, saying ‘he is a chip off the old block.’

He described Ede as an illustrious son of the Okpe Kingdom, whose remarkable contributions to accounting in Nigeria is legendary and worthy of emulation.

He said: “Ede is an illustrious son of Okpe kingdom in whom we are well pleased. His family led by the Late Scion, Senator David Dafinone astute contributions to the development of the banking industry and the Nigeria economy is legendary and worthy of emulation”.

Ogodo noted that as a distinguished Deltan, Ede has had a remarkable career with accounting, where he has continue to win awards for his ability with figures, leadership abilities and his efforts to better the poor through the Dafinone foundation.

“On behalf of my family, I congratulate Chief Ede Dafinone, on his appointment as a board member of the NEXIM bank.”

Ogodo commended President Muhammadu Buhari for finding Chief Dafinone worthy to be appointed.

“On behalf of myself and my family, I will like to sincerely thank Mr President for considering an illustrious citizen of Delta State worthy of occupying this important position of the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) bank” the statement added
