Music, Sports are talents that earned Nigerians respect overseas -Topage

Nigeria music producer and songwriter, Tony Ugiagbe who is popularly known as Topage has said Afrobeat is the eyes of the music industry across Africa, American, Europe and across the world.

The Rapper and CEO of Top-9 records commend the effort of Nigerian musicians for their rhythm and rhyming creativities of pleasantness to make African music more acceptable to the world.

“The current trend in the world is afrobeat, and is also one of the fast-rising industries in the world, so put all this together (the eyes of the world music industry)”.

Topage who has written over 30 singles include some hit jams Addicted, Blaze, Wahala Dey, Nana, Enemy dey and more.

He has worked and fixture top musical artists such as 2fac, Ruggedman, Funke Akindele, Falz Oritse Femi, Duncan Mighty, JJC, Praise and many more.

The young Edo state born singer points out that because of bad leadership in Nigeria, citizens are no longer respected or accepted in most countries overseas.

“But with our talented irresistible music, sports and education strength, we have been able to command respect for our nation”.

“We taking the industry to a greater level, that’s why the current trend which the world look out for is the Nigeria music industry”.

The easy-going musician said he is currently working on his last EP titled HILL plus more singles.
