Melody, Wealth emerges as best coordinated Protocol Queen Stephanie’s Ladies

The Coordinator of Queen Stephanie Ladies in Politics and Queen Stephanie Protocol Ladies, Queen Stephanie Ikanone Odiete has congratulated Miss Melody Da Silva and Miss Wealth Da Silva for clinching the 1st position and that of the first runner-up respectively for the year 2021.

Queen Stephanie Ikanone Odiete who played host to the Queen’s Ladies at the Royal Palms eatery on Friday, November 5th, 2021 at Sapele during the maiden anniversary of the group described the duo as devoted, dedicated, respectful and humble.

While also commending Miss Cynthia Otaroghene and Miss Tricia Otuedor for clinching the third and fourth price respectively, Queen Stephanie Ikanone Odiete described members of the group as industrious, noting that the young girls have been properly brought up by their parents with the good values that they have exhibited thus far.

In her words, “our society today is filled with young girls who have refused to work and develop themselves for their future and the greater good of society, but these young girls have strived hard to be successful in their various fields of endeavour, as they have learnt various skills, which include makeup, catering and confectionery, tailoring etc within the short time we have met.

Some of them have gone back to school to read courses like Science Laboratory Technology, Business Administration Management, Public Administration, Banking and Finance and so forth. It will interest you to know that one of them have graduated from Auchi Polytechnic after reading Office Technology and Management and the other one Mass Communication from Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro and they are currently teaching in a private school. Though I wanted the other one to practice journalism, she prefers teaching and imparting knowledge to little children and I cannot impose my will on her, I am not a dictator, as a leader, I should allow others to do things that they like and give advice when it is necessary to do so”, she added.

Speaking further, “one thing is certain, you have to be engaged in either learning a skill or going to school, I don’t allow them to become a liability to themselves, gone are the era where women sit at home to do nothing with the excuse of, “my husband says, because it affects the home, particularly if peradventure anything happens to the man, that is why I believe in equipping women with a career and the empowerment of the female child” Queen Stephanie added.

Queen Stephanie speaking accordingly said that young girls must strive to be educated as the well being of the society depends on the woman while thanking her patrons for keying into the program and sponsoring the event.

The event which provided a lot of exotic wines to drink and different meals to eat from, saw Miss Melody Da Silva and Miss Wealth Da Silva going home with the sum of fifteen thousand naira and a bag of rice each respectively, while Miss Cynthia Otaroghene and Miss Tricia Otuedor received the sum of ten thousand naira each with a bag of rice as well, while others got various consolation prizes.
