Former Executive Director, Projects of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr Dr. Samuel Adjogbe, FNSE has enjoined Nigerians to promote peace and national unity in the spirit of oneness.
Adjogbe in a Ramadan message through his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Ughere Daniel, noted that the Ramadan season signifies a period of forgiveness and mercy which in turn engenders peace.
According to him: “Peace is the foundation for development, therefore, peaceful coexistence is key to the sustainable development of any nation.”
The Urhobo chieftain who doubles as the Garkuwan Matasa Najeriya, urged Nigerians to be more peaceful and show love to one another, adding that “enduring peace can only be built on the foundation of justice otherwise such peace will only be short-lived and temporary.”
He went on to wish all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians, all the blessings attached to the Ramadan season.
