According to an eyewitness, the victim was shot in his stomach and was later rushed to the hospital immediately after the hoodlums completed their operation which we learned lasted over 20 minutes.

The eyewitness who does not wants his name on print, said, “I wanted to go and buy a phone this evening at Raycom, when I got there, I saw a young man with an AK-47 rifle standing at the door of the store. At first, I thought he was just someone guiding the store so I entered not suspecting anything.

“Surprisingly, when I entered the store, I saw everybody lying down, I was a bit confused,  so I wanted to ask what was going on, but immediately I turned, the boy I saw outside pointed the gun at me and told me to join them on the floor otherwise I would be shot.

“I had to comply, by then I saw the man, of about 35 years that has been shot, he was shot on the stomach, his intestines came out. They collected phones, money, and laptops and left. I thank God they did not see the money that I wanted to buy a phone with.”
