BREAKING: Kenneth Ogba, Delta lawmaker slumps, dies at a PDP leaders meeting

The member representing Isoko South Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Hon. Kenneth Ogba has reportedly slumped and died at a meeting of PDP leaders.

Recall that the Majority Leader of the House of Assembly and member representing Isoko North constituency, Tim Oghenekome Owhefere died barely six months on January 27, 2021, and the lawmaker elected to replace was just sown in last week.

Advocate.ng gathered that Ogba, a first-term member died on Sunday evening around 8:00 pm during a meeting where he was said to have been provoked by one of the party leaders.

It was further gathered that his death may not be unconnected to his history of blood pressure which he has been managing for some time now.

It was also gathered that efforts were made to resuscitate him before he was and was rushed to Mary Martha hospital, Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South local government area of the state, where he was confirmed dead.

As at the time of filing in this report, he has been taken to the Oleh general hospital mortuary while, Ogba’s family compound in Oleh, is said to have been besieged by constituents while the entire constituency 1, especially his home town, Oleh have been thrown into mourning.
