Uduaghan came to APC a loner, left same way- Delta APC

By Shedrack Onitsha,

The All Progressive Congress, APC, Delta State Chapter has said it’s not losing sleep over the defection of the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to the PDP.

The party noted that the former governor came into APC as loner, “Nicodemusly” and has left same way that he came, adding that the party will not miss him one beat.

APC in  a statement signed by its state Publicity Secretary, Barr Sylvester Imonina urged Uduaghan not to forget how APC gave him shelter when PDP abandoned him in the cold.

The statement reads in part: “Well, for records purpose, the former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan came into APC as a loner (Nicodemusly) and have left to where (PDP) he came from same way. In politics and in line with freedom of association as guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, he has the right to chose whosoever to associate with for whatever reasons.

“However, he should not forget the fact that when PDP was uninhabitable for him, he was housed by Delta APC despite the fact that he did not come to APC with anybody under the guise of being a self acclaimed “John The Baptist” which eventually proved to be a deceitful mission.

Delta APC will not miss him in any way because APC accommodated him out of compassion as an orphaned politician displaced by the same PDP he has returned to. We wish him well.”
