OERAF gives scholarship grants to students of Delta State University, Oleh campus

 

The Olotu & Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete Foundation gave out scholarship grants to some deserving students of Delta State University, Oleh campus who performed excellently in their academics and have contributed positively to the school.

 

Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Olotu Akpodiete congratulated students who received educational grants and enjoined them to be focused on their education and acquire skills so that they will be employers of labour when they graduate from the university.

 

Some of the beneficiaries of the grant include; Ekure Divine, Avwayekerho Glory, Onwuegbuzie Awele, Owe Abigail, Igbeke Lesly and Obodo Innocent.

 

The provost,  Delta State University, Oleh campus, Professor Alex Amata presented an award to Dr. Olotu Akpodiete on behalf of the Student Union Government, Delta State University, Oleh Campus for his immense contribution to the student body on campus and nationwide.

He appreciated the Executive Director for his initiatives and admonished students to learn from his good works towards humanity.

 

Barrister Kenneth Oribo, a lecturer in the university, gave a lecture on the benefits of academic excellence, charged students to by studious and put their academics first.

 

Meanwhile, elated Student Union President, Comrade Onome Obodo thanked the Olotu & Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete Foundation for scholarship grants to students of the institution.
