Ochor felicitate with Dame Okowa on birthday, likens her work to Mother Teresa

The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor had felicitated with the wife of the State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa on her birthday.

The Deputy Speaker extolled the first lady for her zeal of love towards the needy, and welfare of the general poor in the state, with her work using the 05 Initiative.

Ochor in a statement by his Press Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Enebeli on Monday, said Dame Okowa’s passion to help uplift lives of Deltans and non Deltans who have benefited from her medical outreach is unparalleled and has gone a long way to take care of the poor and elderly irrespective of religious or political affiliations.

Hon Ochor prayed that as she celebrates, she should not relent in her love for humanity, because it’s clear that God gave her the passion to attend to the sick, and elderly, which can be likened to works of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
