DTHA Deputy Speaker distributes food Items to constituents, orphanages  in Ukwani LGA

The Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Christopher Ochor Ochor on Monday, distributed food items as palliatives to the 10 wards of Ukwuani LGA to cushion the effect of the stay at home order of the Delta State Government.

This was done today Monday 6th April 2020 as items shared include;  bags of rice, cartons of indomies, cartons of tin tomatoes, bags of beans, groundnut oils and other items to members of his constituency to help in cushioning the effect of the ‘stay at home’ order of the Delta State Government over the Coronavirus pandemic.

Addressing the recipient on behalf of the Deputy Speaker, his Press Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Enebeli and his SSA Political, Hon. Chukwuemeke Osemeke called on the recipients to make sure that the items get to the most vulnerable and less privileged ones within their communities, and avoid playing politics with it.

He advised that no political affiliation should be attached in sharing the commodities.

Some of the recipients who received the items on behalf of their wards who spoke to newsmen commended the deputy speaker for the kind gesture extended to members of his constituency at this critical time that his people needed it most to help in cushioning the effect of the stay at home order.

They prayed that God will replenish him in million folds to enable him to do more.

Some of the items were also shared to different orphanage homes within Ukwuani LGA.
