According to the source; “The reason why the leaders rejected the candidate chosen by the duo of Hon Leo Ogor and Hon Tim Owhefere is for the rotation of the State House of Assembly seat, noting that, if they agree on the candidate Chosen by Hon Leo Ogor and Hon Tim Owhefere, it will give room for Hon Tim Owhefere who is currently occupying the state House of Assembly seat for fourth term and from Owhe clan to go back again for fifth term.
“The meeting however ended without choosing a consensus candidate that will be the party flag bearer in the forthcoming local government election. All leaders of the party in Isoko North local government area left for Asaba to meet with the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who will choose chairmanship candidate that will be the party flag bearer for the leaders,” the source added.
