I’ll bring unity, peace to Burutu PDP if elected – Apu

A People’s Democratic Party PDP Chairmanship aspirant in Burutu Local government Area of Delta State, in the forthcoming party congresses, Hon. Tonkiri John Apu has stated that his leadership will bring unity and harmony to the PDP in the area if elected.

Apu who made this known in Warri while addressing some selected journalists, said the PDP needs unity which cannot be compromised at this critical and challenging time of the nation’s democracy.

Apu, a former Delta State House of Assembly aspirant noted that, it is only unity that will make the PDP stronger than it is today.

He explained that if given the mandate, he will make sure that he organized top echelon of the party to reach out to all aggrieved members who have left the party temporarily for one reason or the other in the local government area.

He stressed “there is no other party in Burutu Local Government Area except the PDP. So we are one big family. The umbrella of the PDP is big enough to cover everybody and all interest will be accommodated”.

“At the moment the PDP in Burutu LGA need a capable hand to lead and unite the party. And I am that unifying factor. I have the character and capacity to do it”, he averred.
