Engr. Ojariefe elected as Chairman of NiMechE Benin Chapter

Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, an affiliate of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Benin Chapter, Edo State, weekend, elected and inaugurated Engr. Godspower Ojariefe as its Chairman to serve for two years.

The election and inauguration of new NIMechE Benin Executive Committee were held during its AGM on Saturday, 10 October 2020, and was well attended by members.

Other Engineers who were elected and inaugurated as NIMechE Benin Executive Committee for 2020/2021, includes; Engr. Dr.(Mrs) Queeneth Kingsley-Omoyibo as Vice Chairman; General Secretary- Engr. Michael Obunike Akukalia; Engr. Augustine Ereyimwen-Asst General Secretary; Ebu- Nkamadu Odudu Thomas- Tech Secretary and  Engr. Albert as Publicity Secretary.

Other members of the executives are; Engr. Linus Godspower- Financial Secretary; Engr. (Mrs) Esosa Ogierumwense Welfare Secretary; Dr Collins Chike Kwasi-Effah- IPCC; while Engr. Dr Kenneth  Otomi and Engr. Kenneth Ohuaregbe as Ex-Officio.

Engr. Godspower Ojariefe while speaking to ADVOCATE after his inauguration; promised to be transparent in his activities as the chairman, adding that he is open to other members’ ideas which are geared towards repositioning NIMechE Benin chapter.
