The Commissioner for Information Delta State, Mr. Charles Aniagwu has lauded members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Sapele Correspondent Chapel for their support for Dr Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration.
Mr Aniagwu who play host to members of the union, today (Wednesday), in his office at Asaba, expressed satisfaction at the visit, said that NUJ Sapele Chapel is a very peculiar one, especially to Okowa’s administration, noting that the Chapel has not given the state any problem whatsoever.
The Information Commissioner while urging the leadership of the chapel on good governance urged Excos and members to close ranks and work in synergy, stressing that it will usher in a new era for the growth of the Chapel.
He also promised to continue to partner with Sapele Chapel in the New Year 2021 in the task of Building a Stronger Delta.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Sapele Chapel of the NUJ, Comrade Godwin Oghre thanked the Honorable Commissioner for the warm reception accorded to members of the union.
He noted that the Sapele Chapel will continue to support Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration in promoting its policies and programmes in their reportage where necessary.
