DELSU Don, Dr Adagbabiri to feature at Delta Strategic Political Communication Workshop

Public Administrator and Head of Political Science Department, Delta State University (DELSU), Dr Moses Adagbabiri, is one of the resource persons billed to feature at the forth coming Strategic Political Communication Workshop put together by the Office of the Executive Assistant (Communication) to the Governor of Delta State (EACGOVDELTA) in Collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG).

The organisers in a statement by Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, said core issues in politics shall be in the front burner at the workshop which is why Dr Adagbabiri vowed to drill participants on fundamental issues in constitutional democracy via a position paper titled; “Politics, Power and Authority – The Nigerian Experience From 2015 to 2019.”

He further asserted that Adagbabiri’s    intellectual postulations at the workshop will constitute intensive interactive session while group presentations and grading shall enable participants better equipped intellectually for future assignment in projecting government policies, programmes and achievements; especially as Gov Okowa administration steps into second tenure christened “Stronger Delta.”

Adagbabiri, is coming to the workshop with wealth of experience that cut across politics and Public administration as well as practical experience as a lecturer in the field of political science.

“We are glad to announce that Dr Adagbabiri, a super resource person shall be at the workshop to take participants through  brainstorming exercise and at the end of the interactive session and group presentation, justice would have been done to why political actors scheme for power which begets authority, influence and social status.

“This module is deliberate to serve as an eye opener to participants, so as not to be mislead by narrow minded political gladiators while discharging their core responsibilities as media and communication persons,” Oghenesivbe added.
