Blend and Style Fashion House opens in Sapele

The Chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon Michael Diden, on Thursday has assured the Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Blend and Style Fashion House, Lady Judith Nwachukwu patronage from him and other key stakeholder in Sapele.

Diden disclosed this during the official opening ceremony of Lady Judith Nwachukwu Fashion House, “Blend and Style”, at Ajogodo in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State said the state government is providing enabling environment for business to thrive.

He decried attitudes of employee who are in the habits of undermining the business owner’s interest if not around saying, “the problem we have in Sapele is that, if you have people working for you, the moment you leave the place, the people working for you believe the place belongs to them and that doesn’t help an organization.”

He advised Mrs Nwachukwu to be careful with the people she employ otherwise, they may destroy her business, adding that he has seen her good works and will encourage her by patronizing her fashion house to make it grow.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director DESOPADEC, Bashorun Askia Ogieh, represented by Hon. Joyce Overah, member DESOPADEC  board also appreciated the effort of the MD and CEO of Blend and Style.

According to him, “The idea is a good one and it’s our belief as you progress with this new enterprise, Sapele will know greater things and instead of us going to Benin, Lagos and other places, we will be patronizing Blend and Style goods,” he said.

Earlier the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Blend and Styles, who is also the immediate past President of Rotary Club of Sapele Urban, Lady Judith Nwachukwu, expressed her sincere gratitude to her friends, sponsors, and all those who came and witnessed the opening ceremony of her fashion house and advised women to make good use of their talents adding that women should have self confidence and believe on themselves.

While addressing journalists at the end of the ceremony, she noted that the concept of Blend and Style is to be creative and stylish.

The stylist Icon state also that; “Anything I put on, people always appreciate it and so I thought that I can make more women and men beautiful. As the Managing Director of Blend and Style, I have trainees and staffs, people call us from different places to consult us on what to put on and I see myself gifted in that area because I know how to blend and style” she said.

Speaking further, she said, her dream is to have a whole building, a fashion house which will help create more employment for the people in Sapele, empower them because she hate to see people, especially women in a bad state because of the economic situation.

“When they are empowered, they will have this self confidence and depend on themselves and be women that have something to offer to the society. Every woman has a talent, it’s not going to be easy but keep pushing, check your talent and use it. Look for your gift, tap into it, believe in yourself that you can be great in whatever thing you are doing, look for someone that can mentor you, seek knowledge and you see the difference”, she added.
