Old Students of Immaculate Conception College visit Oba of Benin

The Benin Monarch has admonished the National Executive of Immaculate Conception College Benin Old Boys Association (ICCOBA) Worldwide to be upright, diligent and prudent in the conduct of the affairs of the Association.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II gave the admonition when the National President of ICCOBA Worldwide, Engr. John Osa Omoregie led other Executive members on a courtesy to Omo N’Oba in his Palace.

The Oba of Benin reminded them that it was their leadership qualities and character that earned them the positions, and urged them not to relent in their efforts to take ICCOBA to the next level.

His Royal Majesty who is also an Old Boy of Immaculate Conception College, Benin congratulated them for their elections and prayed God and the Ancestors to grant them the wisdom and good health to pilot the affairs of ICCOBA successfully.

Earlier, the National President of ICCOBA Worldwide, Engr. John Omoregie said they were in the Palace to introduce themselves as members of the National Executive to steer the leadership of ICCOBA for the next three years.

Engr. Omoregie told the Benin Monarch that they were elected at the Abuja convention of the Association in November last year, and considered it very necessary to come to the Palace for advice and Royal blessings to enable them succeed in the leadership of ICCOBA.

He informed the Omo N’Oba of the various programmes planned for execution by the National Executive, including the empowerment of young and unemployed members of ICCOBA.

Engr. Omoregie lauded Oba Ewuare II for his support over the years and sued for more, and pledged the continued loyalty and service of members of ICCOBA Worldwide to the Oba of Benin.
