As the 2019 general election draws closer, and to actualised the second term ambition of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, a Niger Delta Activist and a  House of Assembly  aspirant for Warri South-West Constituency, Comrade Sheriff Mulade has pledged his support to the governor and endorsed him for a second term.
                                           Governor Ifeanyi Okowa
Comrade Mulade, an environmentalist called on Deltans to give maximum support and cooperation to Governor  Okowa and his deputy, Barrister  Kingsley Otuara to enable them complete on-going projects and bring the desired peace and development to all parts of the State.
According to him, since  after  Chief James Ibori led administration in the State, particularly the riverine communities have not felt the impact of the state government, he commended  former Governor James Ibori for constructing bridges to Bomadi, Omadino and for helping to build roads across the riverine communities in spite of the acclaimed difficult terrain.
He  noted that Governor Okowa led administration  has embarked on massive construction of  concrete road projects  and other needed infrastructural projects which are physically seen in some  riverine communities hence the call for his re-election next year.
He urged  Governor Okowa to adopt proactive measures by commencing construction works on the Omadino- Okerenkoko-Kokodiagbene road, Ogidigben-Ubefan road, Ayakoromo-Burutu and  Koko-Oghoye roads in order for the riverine communities and Deltans to  have confident in his administration, saying doing this will give the Governor  total winning votes  in 2019 general elections.
