Inoaghan calls for collaborative efforts to make Sapele great again

The newly elected Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Chief Eugene Inoaghan has urged Sapele residents to join hands with his administration in making Sapele great again.

Chief Inoaghan stated this at his residence where party faithfuls had gathered to celebrate his victory at the LG polls and his swearing-in as the Chairman of the council by the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to him, “We must leave this politics of bitterness and put hands together to make Sapele that beautiful bride, we use to know,” adding that with all hands on deck, Sapele will certainly be great again.

Meanwhile  prominent People Democratic Party, PDP,  leaders and Party stakeholders in Sapele hailed Inoaghan’s victory at the Local Government polls,  describing his 7, 090 votes to the Labour Party’s 4917 votes as a vote for progress and development.

Some of those who praised  Inoaghan’s victory include,  Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule,  Chief Felix Anirah , Hon Austin Ayemidejor, Hon Joyce Overah, others are Comrade Benson Okorodudu, Hon Goodluck  Arimitan and Hon Festus Pemu.

Speaking separately Akpeki said the victory was for all lovers of democracy. He urged everyone to support Chief Inoaghan in his effort to take Sapele LGA to the next height.

Obule on his part said Inoaghan’s victory was a testimony of how PDP has kept to its promises, saying with a working governor like Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and a chairman like Chief Inoaghan, Sapele will certainly speed up in terms of development.

Chief Anirah noted that Sapele is in safe hands with Chief Inoaghan as the Chairman, noting that the new council boss will bring his experience in the private sector where he has done well in managing the affairs of Sapele LGA.

Ayemidejor, who was visibly happy, described Inoaghan’s victory as victory for the sustainable development of not only Sapele; but Delta State as a whole, urging oppositions in the Sapele to join hands in making Sapele great again.

Overah urged opposition to stop playing politics of bitterness, saying that only that way the State and Country will move forward.

While Okorodudu called Chief Inoaghan a bridge builder, whom he has known over the years “Sapele is on the rise again, and his victory at the polls is a victory not only progress, development but for a better tomorrow” he added.
