Alapala declares intention to run for House Assembly, bags Delta Youth Assembly Award

A business mogul and philanthropist, Amb. Ebitonmo Alapala Anthony has formally declared his intention to represent the good people of Burutu North consistency in the Delta state house of Assembly for the forthcoming 2019 election.

The philanthropist made this known to newsmen when the leadership of Delta Youth Assembly, led by Comrade Kelly Gilor and other Executives paid him courtesy visit and also presented him a Meritorious Award for his peace building and humanitarian service in the Niger Delta Region at his home town, Gbekobor in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state.

Speaking on the award, the President of Delta Youth Assembly, Comrade Kelly Gilor said, Delta Youth Assembly does not affiliate any political party but is non-partisan organization that recognises the contributions of distinguished Deltans who have impacted the lives of the Youths and contribute to the development of the state.

While accepting the award, Amb Ebitonmo Alapala thank Delta Youth Assembly for finding him worth and promise to do more for his people and the society at large.

He also promised his constituent of quality representation with youths and women empowerment programmes if voted into office.

Amb. Alapala also use the occasion to appeal to his people to go and register for the permanent voters’ card, stressing that, the voters card is the only tool they will use in sending him to the State House of Assembly in 2019.
