Senator Okpozo’s Burial: Delta APC sets up sub-committee

The State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressive Congress APC, Delta State chapter, today constituted a sub-committee to lease with late Senator Francis Okpozo’s burial committee, in other to the departed elder statesman a befitting burial.

 

In a press release sighed by the state party chairman, Prophet Jones Ode Erue, he stated that the sub-committee functions, “would be to mobilise and provide necessary support to the family and the main Burial Committee set up by the Isoko Nation in order to secure a befitting burial for our late elder and distinguished Senator.”

 

The sub-committee is chaired by Hon Fred Olokor Okpowhoro, other members include Chief Cyril Ogodo, Snr. Apostle Yemi Omaghomi, Dr Iyke Odikpo, Barr Cyprian Ashibuogwu and Pastor PZ Aghinigan.

 

Recalled that this became necessary following an earlier condolence visits of the members of the SWC and led by the leader of the party in the state, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, to the Okpozo family, where they party indicated interest to be part of the burial process.

 

Prophet Erue charged party members to reach the committee members to contribute their inputs to ensure that the burial was a success.
