“The things that will take place in the years to come will make other states to come to our state to ask how we did it, the spirit of God has taken over this state, Deltans should be confident that in going forward, from this day, the Lord will do remarkable things in 2018 and we shall have every reason to worship Him,” the Governor said, attributing the existing peace in the state to the grace of God.

He continued, “our state will be much better if we continue to keep the peace investments will come in and  our state will grow, we can all see the impact of having peace because, with increased revenue as a result of peace, we have cleared all the debts owed trade unions, state civil servants, cooperative societies and we have assisted the local government councils to pay their salaries monthly; we have come today to thank God for His goodness to us as a state, and as a people.”

The Governor at the thanksgiving service paid glowing tribute to his Deputy, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro saying he was chosen by God to work with him to transform Delta State as they share a lot in common.
