The President General of Oriarivie-Abraka, one Chief Emudianohwo is among the five randy lectures recommended for dismissal by the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee of the Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.
Chief Emudianohwo, who is a former Head of Basic Medical Sciences department, indicted after a female student who he was course adviser to, gave shocking and startling revelations on how he threatened to fail her if she refuses to sleep with him.
Also penciled down for dismissal alongside the randy President General is a lecturer of the Department of Primary/ Nursery Education who was caught pants down in at Wembley hotel located in Abraka and detained for two days at the Abraka police station while trying to have his way with a female student identified as Esther Omokiniovo who had pretended to succumb to his sexual advances only for her to hint the police of his actions.
The recommendation by the committee is coming 13months after the institution dismissed three lecturers for alleged professional misconducts including a lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts who was caught pants down with examination scripts in the room of a 400 level female student in the same department.
Though management of the institution is yet to issue a statement on the matter, the university’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Edward Agbure when contacted stated that the fate of the lecturers is anchored on the decision of the DELSU Governing Council.
Agbure explained that, the recommendation by the committee is within the scope of the university’s governing council which would either uphold the recommendation or reject it.
When contacted on his dismissal, a boasting Chief Emudianohwo said: “I hope you know the legal implications of this frivolous and misguided action you are embarking on? Thanks for your endeavour.”
