2 Doctors, other health workers who attended to Omamuzo Ijala test positive for COVID-19

At least two Doctors, two Nurses and other medical health workers who attended to the Delta controversial COVID-19 female patient, Omamuzo Ijala has tested positive for coronavirus.  

ADVOCATE has earlier reported that Delta State has recorded 8 new COVID-19 cases barely 24hours after the Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa eased the statewide restriction of movement order imposed by the government.

Ughelli South and Udu local governments have become the epicentre of Coronavirus cases in Delta State as the majority of the confirmed new cases of COVID-19 in the state are from Ughelli South, Udu and Warri area.

According to NIGER DELTA TODAY Online reports that some medical workers who attended to Ijala, the women in the viral audio who claimed she is not COVID-19 positive were among the new 8 cases confirmed by the state government.

Recall that the news of five National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, medical personnel serving at the Otu-Jeremi General Hospital, were quarantined after they came in contact with a female COVID-19 patient.
