They both stated this on Tuesday when Chief Ede Dafinone and his campaign team led by Chief Barr Adelabu Bodjor visited the Spare Parts Market and Hausa Market at Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State in continuation of his Ward-to-Ward Campaign.

The Spare Parts Market, Public Relations Officer, Mr Chibuzor Nweahiri who spoke on behalf of the Chairman described Chief Ede Dafinone as the shining light of Delta State while explaining that they have been working for him from his days in DPP.

“You are the shining light of Delta State and I pray you will get there. We have been working for you even when you were in DPP, but I know this time around with the Electoral Arts our votes will count” he said.

Speaking also, Alhaji Gambo Mohammed, the leader of Hausa Market at Effurun speaking during Dafinone’s campaign to the market, declared their support for all APC candidates both at the Federal and State level and appealed to the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege and Chief Ede Dafinone for maximum protection in the election.

Alhaji Gambo explained that before now, many of them travel home for elections, “but now we all have our permanent voters’ card here with us.”

“We want you to assure us that our people are protected on the day of the election. Talk to the security agencies at the various polling units that anywhere they go, they won’t be segregated. We want this message to be extended to the DSP Ovie Omo-Agege,” Alhaji Gambo added.

Speaking earlier Chief Dafinone noted that he is in the race to serve his people, insisting that he has the capacity, qualification and experience to serve his people, he also promised to replace the roof of the spare parts market hall when he becomes the next Senator, “I pledge to replace this roof as a senator in 2023,” he added.

He also called on them to vote all for APC candidates in this coming election. “The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has done a lot of projects in Delta Central including this spare parts market. Omo-Agege has done the work of a Governor in Delta Central and he has promised to do much more. In fact, has shown Capacity,” hence, we have no other option than to vote for him to do more.

The award-winning chartered accountant while addressing party faithful at Wards 7 and 8, and 10, noted that the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the capacity to hire some of the best hands to run Lagos State, adding that the development witnessed in Lagos today is the creation of Tinubu.

“As governor, he hired some of the best hands whom today some are ministers, senators, governors and even a vice president to show you that he has the capacity to hire some of the best hands that will lead the country forward. Deltans should vote for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other APC candidates”

Dafinone stated further that as a private citizen, he has empowered over two thousand persons through the Dafinone Foundation in Sapele and its environs, insisting that he will empower more when he becomes the Senator come 2023.

He explained that All APC candidates are people who can deliver. “Those other parties in the past 23 years didn’t perform, we are tired of those parties, hence our people will not vote for them. Being a Senator is not just the name, but for service.”
