Asawata, Onokpite, Anuku, assures Ede Dafinone of their massive support

The former Secretary of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Chief Andy Asawata, a former House of Assembly member Hon Friday Onojia and a chieftain of the APC in Orogun, Chief Barr Meshack Anuku have assured the All Progressive Congress, APC Delta Central Senatorial candidate in next year’s election, Chief Ede Dafinone of their support adding that Ughelli North will vote for him overwhelming.

The APC chieftain who spoke separately when Chief Dafinone paid a visit to them in their country home in Orogun town in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State also praised the chartered accountant for his decision to visit Orogun.

According to Asawata, “I want to congratulate you for making the inroads into our hinder lands, the people here are wonderful, you have come into one of the cleanest enclaves, and the Orogun APC will support you.

“Everyone in Orogun are APC, all Orogun votes are for Omo-Agege and automatically they are all for you. We are going to work with you,” he said.

Similarly, Chief Barr Meshack Anuku, APC Leader in Orogun Ward 1, also acknowledged the competence of the renowned chartered accountants and added that Orogun ward 1 is entirely APC. “PDP won’t have up to one hundred votes,” he said.

At Ovara-Orogun, Ward 11, speaking on behalf of the leaders, Hon Friday Onojia noted that Dafinone is qualified to represent the people of Delta Central, assuring him of their total support.

“Before you came, we have already made up our minds. We are all disciples of Omo-Agege. The election is more important to all of us. You are qualified to represent us. Omo-Agege is stepping out you are stepping it. If it’s Ughelli North, forget it, you will get our vote and we can assure you that,” he added.

In Ugono in Okpe Local Government Area of the State Chief Dafinone and his campaign team led by the team Director General Chief Adelabu Bodjor also visited the Onokpite Foundation and Great Women in politics.

The sponsor of the Onokpite Foundation, Mr Dafe Onokpite why welcoming them noted that Delta PDP has worked for their pockets and not for the people.

He urged members of the Foundation and the women to go door to door to canvas for votes for all APC candidates.

Speaking during the visits, the renowned accountant and industrialist called on the good people of Delta Central to vote for all APC candidates, saying that APC presented the most credible candidates who will hit the ground running when voted into office.

According to him, “from our Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to our incoming Governor, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, our House of Reps and House of Assembly candidates are people with outstanding credentials of performance.”
