Oil Theft: NYCN hails Ex-militant leader, Ekpemupolo

Operative of Tantita Security Services and Ex-Militant Leader, Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo has been commended for his stance on crude oil theft in the creeks and the country in general.

The Vice President, South-South, National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Comrade Innocent Ajayi made this commendation against the backdrop of the discovery of 4km pipeline that transfers crude illegally to an offshore platform and subsequent interception and arrest of a massive vessel loaded with stolen crude.

” Government Ekpemupolo is a true son of the Niger-Delta, South-South. He has done us proud by unraveling the misery behind oil theft in the creeks. In our next meeting, we will raise issues concerning his excellent performance. He deserves an award for this achievement. The relevance of community policing has been brought to the fore again. I have always being an apostle of community policing and I have said it in different fora that the importance of community policing cannot be over emphasized. I am highly disappointed over the massive oil theft going on in Nigeria. They tell us that the 4km pipeline has being in existence for the past nine years. Oil theft is an organised crime and not just biscuits that you steal and put in your pocket and walk away”.

Comrade Ajayi called on President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari to bring those involved in sabotaging the country’s economy through oil theft to book.

Comrade Ajayi urged youths to get their Permanent Voters Card, PVCs, and come out to vote for a reliable and credible candidate of their choice in the 2023 election advising them to avoid being used in activities that will disrupts the election process.

” Shun politicians that want to use you to disrupts the election process. When they call on you, tell them to go and use their children as thugs. No matter how you look at it, think about Nigeria first. Your PVC is your strength”.
